Alejandro Wilbrand

Alejandro Wilbrand (born May 12, 1967 in Ibiza ) is a German cook and confectioner .

Career

Wilbrand comes from a family of restaurateurs. After training as a pastry chef, he worked in this profession for two years. In 1988 he went to military service, working as head chef in the officers' mess. Since 1990 he has been working in his parents' business Hotel Restaurant zur Post in Odenthal .

He and his brother Christopher Wilbrand have been the owner and pastry chef there since 2003 . Since the takeover in 2003, the restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star . The restaurant has been awarded by Gault Millau since 2010 , currently with 17 points.
