Aleksandra Kojić
Aleksandra Kojić , after marriage to Aleksandra Heuser (born August 19, 1969 in Belgrade ), is a German basketball coach. Before starting her career as a basketball coach, she played as a professional basketball player in Frankfurt, Langen, Osnabrück, Marburg and Dorsten, among others.
Aleksandra Kojić is a qualified sports scientist and holder of the Trainer A license. The German Basketball Federation describes its objective as follows: “She is an absolute advocate of the philosophy of promoting young talent, wants to introduce young German talents to competitive sport, integrate them into professional basketball and thus contribute to making the German national basketball team internationally competitive in the medium term to keep."
Coaching positions
Eintracht Frankfurt , TV Langen, BC Marburg , Osnabrücker SC , Hagener TV, BG Dorsten , Hessian Basketball Association, Lower Saxony Basketball Association, German Basketball Association , Bti Grünberg, Team Mittelhessen and Bender Baskets Grünberg .
From 2001 to 2005 she coached the women's basketball Bundesliga team of the BG Dorsten. In 2003 she was national coach of the U18 women of the DBBL . In 2005 she was the trainer of the Universiade team and achieved 6th place at the “Student Olympiad” in Izmir. Also in 2005 she became national coach of the U20 women of the DBB, but gave up the office at the end of 2007 in order to be able to concentrate better on her work at BC Marburg. From 2005 to January 2013 she was head coach of BC Marburg. The manner in which Kojić was released led to discussions in the area around BC Marburg. Since May 2013 she has been the full-time head trainer of the Bti Grünberg (basketball part and full-time boarding school Grünberg) and since April 2014 national trainer of the U-20 women. In August 2014 she took over the WNBL team Mittelhessen and in January 2015 the second division team Bender Baskets Grünberg, which she will also coach in the 2015/2016 season.
Greatest success as a trainer
In 1992 Aleksandra Kojić was German champion with the A-youth of Frankfurt Eintracht, in 2003 with the U20 of BG Dorsten German runner-up and in the following year with the same team German champion. With the Bundesliga team of BG Dorsten, she won the German Cup and the German Vice Championship in 2004. In 2002 she was named “Trainer of the Year” by the DBBL. In the 2009/2010 and 2011/2012 seasons she was third in the German championship with Marburg. In 2010 she was elected Trainer of the Year 2010 in the Marburg-Biedenkopf district.
As the coach of the female U-18 national team , Aleksandra Kojić won the B-European Championship in 2014 and was promoted to the A group with the team.
