Aleksandrs Priede (born July 31 . Jul / 13. August  1907 greg. In the district Salaspils , † 3. August 1978 in Lēdurga ) was a Latvian football players .

Career

Aleksandrs Priede first played for the football team of the Latvian Social Democratic Labor Party . From 1929 he continued his club career at ASK Riga and RFK Riga . With the RFK Riga he was twice Latvian champion in the 1930s.

On July 28, 1929 Priede made his debut in the Latvian national team in an international match against Sweden in Malmö . The game was lost 0:10. With the Latvian national selection, he took part in the Baltic Cup in 1929 . In the game against Estonia he scored his first of three goals in the national shirt.

He made a total of 15 international matches for Latvia, in which the striker scored three times.
