Alemão , real name Carlos Adriano de Jesus Soares (born April 10, 1984 in Nova Iguaçu , † July 8, 2007 ibid), was a Brazilian soccer player . He took his nickname in honor of his father Alemão (* 1961), who was also a soccer player.

career

After his debut at the age of eighteen in a lower class club, Alemão moved to the first division club Coritiba FC in 2004. From here it went to Japan on loan after just one season. He stayed there for two years. Shortly after his return to Brazil in 2007, he died in a car accident.
