Alessandro Caruso (born July 4, 1980 in Karlsruhe ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Caruso began his football career in the youth of SG Siemens Karlsruhe , in 1997 he moved to the A-youth of Karlsruher SC . In 1999 he played for the amateurs of the KSC for the first time in third class: The defensive midfielder was primarily used in the second team, but also played three games in the 2nd Bundesliga . In the 2001/02 regional league season he was a regular for the amateurs of VfB Stuttgart . For the 2002/03 season Caruso moved to 1. FC Saarbrücken , where he also had a regular place in the first team in the first season. With the FCS, Caruso rose to the second division in 2004.

In 2005 he went to league competitor Eintracht Braunschweig , where he could not prevail. He dared to "step back" for the 2006/07 season, had his contract terminated and moved again to the Regionalliga Süd, this time to SV Wehen . But even here he disappointed in his seven missions and was "banished" to the second team ( regional league ) for the second half of the season . For the 2007/08 season Caruso moved to the Regionalliga Nord for VfB Lübeck . After the season he was unemployed and kept fit in a team of clubless professionals under the umbrella of the Association of Contract Footballers. In the summer of 2010 he went to the upper division Goslarer SC 08 , with whom he was champion in the 2011/12 season and was promoted to the Regionalliga Nord . From 2013 on, Caruso let his career at TSV Schilksee in the football league Schleswig-Holstein end. He now works as an optician.
