Alessandro Paganessi (born January 31, 1959 in Gazzaniga ) is a former Italian cyclist . His sporting career began in 1977 when he won the junior competition of the International Peace Tour . In later years he achieved stage victories in several important European races - among other things, he secured two victories (team time trial and individual stage) at the Giro d'Italia in 1983 .
In addition to his professional career Paganessi also appeared to Jedermannrennen on. In 1997 and 1998 he won two consecutive Maratona dles Dolomites .
