Aletta Jorritsma

Aletta Jorritsma (born May 17, 1989 in Tzummarum , Franekeradeel ) is a Dutch rower .

The 1.86 m tall rower finished sixth at the 2013 World Championships with the Dutch eighth . In 2014 she competed at the European Championships together with Heleen Boers in a pair without a helmsman and won the bronze medal behind the British and Romanians. At the 2014 World Championships in her hometown of Amsterdam, she finished eighth with eighth place. She also came eighth at the 2015 European Championships , with the Dutch women winning the silver medal behind the Russian boat. At the 2016 Olympic Games , she and Karien Robbers competed in two without a helmsman and came in 13th. At the end of May 2017, Jorritsma won the silver medal with the Dutch eighth at the European Championships in Račice u Štětí . At the World Championships , she finished fifth in the four without a helmsman and sixth in eight. At the 2018 World Cup kick-off, Jorritsma came second in the four and victory in the eight. At the European Championships , the Dutch took third place behind the Romanians and the British.
