Alex Da Silva
Alex Da Silva (born March 27, 1968 in Rio de Janeiro ) is a Brazilian dancer and choreographer specializing in salsa dance . In the USA he became known as a member of the jury for the TV series "So You Think You Can Dance".
Life
Da Silva has been dancing salsa since he was 20 and is a co-founder of the Salsa Los Angeles Style . He began his dance teaching career in San Francisco , California. In 2002 and 2007 he won the World Salsa Championships.
Da Silva was arrested on April 4, 2009 for allegedly luring several women into his home and raping them between May 2003 and March 2009.
