Alex Hepburn (born December 25, 1986 in London ) is a British singer and songwriter . Her style ranges between blues , rock and soul . Her voice is often compared to Janis Joplin 's.

biography

The daughter of Scottish parents was born in London and lived in the south of France for a few years. She first achieved fame through music videos on the Internet.

In 2011 she appeared in the opening act for Bruno Mars . Their single Under was released in November 2012 and their debut album Together Alone on April 12, 2013 . Both were particularly successful in the French-speaking countries (France, Belgium, Switzerland). Her album Together Alone was released in Germany on June 14, 2013.

Alex Hepburn counts Jimi Hendrix , Jeff Buckley , Etta James and Billie Holiday among her role models.
