Alex Infascelli

Alex Infascelli (born November 9, 1967 in Rome ) is an Italian video clip and film director and screenwriter .

Life

Part of a family of filmmakers, Infascelli moved to Los Angeles in 1988, where he worked as a musician and then as a production assistant for music videos. Back in his home country, he also worked as an assistant for music video and commercials before moving to the director's chair himself. Numerous popular artists in the music industry had their videos staged by Infascelli. In 1994 he made the short film Vuoto a rendere , which was shown in cinemas as an episode of De Generazione . After another episode contribution, the horror thriller Almost Blue was released in 2000, based on a novel by Carlo Lucarelli , which was well received by critics and audiences. He has been awarded a David di Donatello , a Silver Ribbon, and other awards. The successor Il siero della vanità appeared in 2004, two years later with H2 Odio , another horror thriller; then Infascelli worked for television.

For some appearances Infascelli was also hired as an actor.
