action

Centuries ago there was a boy named Alex Kidd on the planet Aries . He spent seven years on Mount Eternal learning the art of rock shattering, also known as shellcore . On his return home, he found a dying man who told him that his hometown of Radaxian was in great danger. Before he died, he gave Alex a piece of map and a sunstone medallion.

Alex finds out that Janken the Great , ruler of the planet Janbarik, and his followers want to conquer the beautiful city of Radaxian and rule it forever. He travels to the Miracle World to defeat Janken and his evil servants. He defeats all of his servants once, but when he reaches Radaxian Castle and saves his brother, Janken is still on his way to steal the moonstone medallion from the Nibana kingdom. He also learns that Janken's servants have not yet been finally defeated. When Alex reaches the Nibana Kingdom, he finds out that Janken has already stolen the moonstone locket. He follows him to his castle, where he finds his mother. He defeats Janken, takes the moonstone medallion and saves his mother. In the end he finds the "crown" with which he makes all stoned people back to normal. But since his father is not found, his brother becomes the new king.

Game mechanics

The game contains eleven levels through which you fight your way mostly hopping and hitting your fist. You collect bags of money, destroy stone blocks and boxes, some of which contain valuable objects. The opponents, who mostly belong to the animal kingdom, are eliminated with a punch. In some levels there is a shop where you can invest the money you have collected in vehicles or utensils, such as a motorcycle or a helicopter, but also in new lives. If you meet one of Janken's servants, you have to play a rock-paper-scissors game against them.
