Alexander Angerer (born March 2, 1996 ) is a German basketball player .

career

Angerer played in the youth of the BBC Bayreuth , in 2013 he switched to Rhöndorfer TV, played for RTV in the 2nd regional league and in the youth basketball league for the Bonn / Rhöndorfer syndicate. In the 2014/15 season he received his first appearances in the Dragons Rhöndorf shirt in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB , and in the following year in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA . For a while, he was also in the second team of Telekom Baskets Bonn with a double license .

In 2016 Angerer moved to VfL Bochum in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB and should develop into the team's top performer in his two years at VfL. In the 2017/18 game year, he led the Bochum team in the statistical values ​​of points per match (14.8) and rebounds per match (7.1).

At the end of May 2018 he was signed by the White Wings Hanau (2nd Bundesliga ProA). He was used in 30 ProA games in the 2018/19 season and scored an average of 9.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, but missed relegation with the team. In the summer break of 2019 he moved to SC Rist Wedel in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB. In the spring of 2020, Angerer tore a cruciate ligament.
