Alexander Baumann (born February 18, 1962 in Bad Mergentheim ) is a German local politician and Lord Mayor of the large district town of Ehingen (Danube) . Baumann is a member of the CDU .

Life

After graduating from high school in Biberach in 1981 , Baumann initially did his military service . Then he began training at the community of Schemmerhofen and at the district office . This was followed by studies at the Ludwigsburg University of Public Administration and Finance . He graduated in 1987 with a degree in administrative management (FH). Baumann then worked until March 31, 1995 as a specialist in finance for the municipality of Burgrieden . From April 1, 1995 to December 21, 2010 he was mayor of the large district town of Ehingen (Danube).

Baumann was elected Lord Mayor of Ehingen on October 10, 2010, and sworn in and committed to this office on December 22, 2010.
