Alexander Blackburn Bradford

Alexander Blackburn Bradford (born June 2, 1799 in Jefferson County , Tennessee , † July 10, 1873 ) was an American politician .

Bradford held a seat in the Tennessee Senate in 1837 . After that, he was a member of the State Legislature of Mississippi . He also served during the Mexican-American War (1846-1848) in the United States Army , where he held the rank of major . When then Mississippi in 1861 breaking away , he represented those State in Provisional Konföderiertenkongress .

He died in 1873 and was then buried in Hillcrest Cemetery .
