Alexander Borell

Alexander Borell (born November 2, 1913 in Strasbourg ; † October 31, 1998 in Kaufbeuren ) was a German author of numerous entertainment and serial novels as well as a screenwriter .

Life

In the 1970s and 1980s he also wrote as a life advisor for the German TV program magazines Bild + Funk and Gong and hosted the program "I have a problem. Questions to Alexander Borell" for Südwestfunk. During the same period he also wrote numerous articles on the subject of amateur photography and cine film for the magazines FotoMagazin and ColorFoto as well as ColorFilm and later Film & Video . He also wrote several non-fiction books on photography and camera technology. He became legendary for photo amateurs through his entertaining and sometimes quite sarcastic essays and test reports under the self-chosen pseudonym "Nörgelmann" (quote: "When the sun is shining, every bottle bottom is sharp"). Alexander Borell died on October 31, 1998 in a sanatorium in Kaufbeuren.
