Alexander Czwalina

Alexander Czwalina (born March 24, 1830 in Posen ; † November 24, 1893 there ) was a German judge and parliamentarian.

Life

Alexander Czwalina studied law at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn . In 1850 he became a member of the Corps Palatia Bonn . After completing his studies, he pursued a career as a judge and became a district judge at the Poznan district court.

From 1886 to 1893 Czwalina sat for the constituency Posen 2 (Posen, Obornik or Posen-East, Posen-West, Obornik) in the Prussian House of Representatives . He belonged to the faction of the German Progressive Party . In 1889 he was Secretary of Parliament.
