Ernesto Lagos

Ernesto Lagos ( Ernesto Lagos Salinas; born January 30, 1930 ) is a former Chilean high jumper .

At the Pan American Games in Buenos Aires in 1951 , he was fifth.

In 1952 he won silver at the South American Athletics Championships in Buenos Aires and was eliminated from the qualification at the Olympic Games in Helsinki .

In 1954 he won silver again at the South American Championships in São Paulo , and in 1955 he was fourth at the Pan American Games in Mexico City .

In further participation in the South American Championships, he won silver in Santiago in 1956 and bronze in 1958 in Montevideo .

He set his personal best of 1.96 m in 1955.
