Alexander Engelhardt (born March 1, 1996 in Lemgo ) is a German handball player . He has been playing for the German handball division TBV Lemgo Lippe since February 8, 2018 . Engelhardt wears the shirt number 41. Engelhardt also plays for the Augustdorf-Lemgo-Lippe team with the shirt number 13. He plays in the position of the circle. Before joining the first professional team, he played in the club's own youth team. In January 2020 it was announced that Engelhardt will be switching to the Austrian first division club Bregenz Handball with immediate effect . His contract in Bregenz runs until the end of the 2019/2020 season.

Private life

After graduating from the Marianne-Weber-Gymnasium in Lemgo in 2014, Engelhardt completed an apprenticeship as a banker at Sparkasse Lemgo. He is currently studying business administration at the TH OWL .
