Alexander Fischer

Alexander Fischer (born October 10, 1974 in Dresden ) is a German politician ( Die Linke ) and State Secretary . Since December 9, 2016, he has been responsible for labor and social affairs in the Berlin Senate Department for Integration, Labor and Social Affairs in Senate Müller II .

biography

After attending school and graduating from high school in Dresden in 1993, Fischer studied modern and contemporary history, economic and social history as well as philosophy at the Technical University of Dresden , completing a Magister Artium in 2001. He then worked for the German Trade Union Confederation as a youth education officer until 2006 . From 2006 he worked for the parliamentary group Die Linke, among other things as Klaus Ernst's office manager . From 2008 he worked for the party executive of the left, from 2010 to 2015 as its press spokesman. He then entered the service of the Thuringian state administration, first as a government spokesman in the Ramelow I cabinet , then as head of department in the Thuringian state representation in Berlin.

Alexander Fischer is married and has one son.
