Alexander Fliaster

Alexander Fliaster (* 1966 ) is a German economist . He is a professor of business administration , especially innovation management , at the Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg .

Life

Fliaster studied engineering (focus: system technology ) in Moscow . Then he trained as a translator for Japanese . In 1999 he was at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich with a dissertation on human-based innovation identity as a management challenge. Interdisciplinary explanatory model of Japanese knowledge management for Dr. rer. pole. doctorate ( summa cum laude ). In 2007 he completed his habilitation in general business administration with the work Innovations in Networks. How human and social capital lead to creative ideas , which was supervised by Rainer Marr .

He was then an assistant professor at the State Finance Academy in Moscow and a deputy professor at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich and the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg, as well as professor for general business administration, in particular personnel management and organization at the Lahr University of Applied Sciences . Since 2011 he has been a professor of business administration , especially innovation management , at the Otto Friedrich University in Bamberg.

He was visiting professor a . a. at the Toulouse Business School (France), the Universidad de Alcalá (Spain) and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology . He designed various executive development programs for international technology companies and banks. He has also been a speaker at conferences of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development . Numerous articles have been published in specialist journals such as Schmalenbach Business Review and Management International Review . Furthermore, he was u. a. Visiting Research Fellow at the Insead Business School in Fontainebleau and associate member of the Center for Advanced Learning Technologies there. He was involved in various research programs funded by the European Union.
