Alexander Gerdanovits
Alexander Gerdanovits (born May 24, 1974 in Timișoara , Timiș County ) is an Austrian writer and cultural mediator of Romanian German origin.
biography
Between 1992 and 1999 Gerdanovits studied German , English and philosophy at the University of Klagenfurt in Austria . Since 2002 he has been a member of the Romanian Writers' Union. His first book “Streifzüge. Reflections on Literature ”was awarded the Debut Prize by the Romanian Writers' Union. Gerdanovits works as artistic advisor to the opera singer Angela Gheorghiu. He regularly publishes articles on art and literature in cultural magazines and daily newspapers. Gerdanovits also curates exhibitions in the Galerie 3 Klagenfurt (series "Konfrontation I- IX, 2008-2016), in the Alpen-Adria-Galerie Klagenfurt (Tragatschnig - Art as Lifestyle, 2016) and in the Stadtgalerie Klagenfurt (order and obsession, 2017 ).
