Alexander Gutzmer

Alexander Gutzmer (born June 13, 1974 ) is a German cultural scientist and architecture journalist.

Life

Gutzmer attended the Axel Springer Journalism School and became the business correspondent for Welt am Sonntag in London. He worked as Editorial Director at Burda Creative Group (now C3 Creative Code and Content ) and as Editor-in-Chief of the magazine think: act from Roland Berger Strategy Consultants .

In 2011 he received his PhD from Goldsmiths College , University of London. He is professor for media and communication at Quadriga University Berlin and was editor-in-chief of the architecture magazine Baumeister from 2011 to 2020 . Gutzmer was also the editorial director of the Munich publishing house Callwey .
