Alexander Huemer
Alexander Huemer (* 1972 in Kirchdorf an der Krems ) is an Austrian painter and sculptor .
Life
Huemer completed an apprenticeship as a landscape gardener in Vienna and began to deal intensively with painting and graphics in 1988 . In 1994 he met Sepp Rems , who introduced him to sculpture . He took part in exhibitions in the area as well as in symposia as well as painters and sculptors days, and in 1999 he joined the Innviertler Künstlergilde and the professional association of Austrian visual artists .
In 1999 a fire destroyed his studio and most of his work. From 2003 to 2007 he studied spatial and design strategies at the University of Artistic and Industrial Design in Linz . Numerous solo and group exhibitions at home and abroad follow. The artist lives and works in Eggelsberg .
