Alexander Ilyich Gutman
Alexander Ilyich Gutman ( Russian Алекса́ндр Ильи́ч Гу́тман , born January 29, 1945 ; † February 17, 2016 ) was a Russian film director .
Gutman began in 1969 after studying at the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute as a camera assistant in Leningrad. He graduated from the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in 1978 .
He has directed over 13 documentaries and participated in over 50 films.
