Alexander Maul (born September 24, 1976 in Neuendettelsau ) is a German former football player and today's coach. He is used as a midfielder or as a right defender .
Career
Alexander Maul started his career at SG Quelle Fürth . From 2000 to September 2001 he played for Rot-Weiß Oberhausen , where he was used five times in the second division. Then he moved to the then regional league team SSV Jahn Regensburg .
In January 2003 he moved to the former league club FC Carl Zeiss Jena , with whom he was promoted to the regional league in 2005 and to the second division in 2006. From 2008 to 2011 he played for three years at SSV Jahn Regensburg . For the 2011/12 season , he again joined FC Carl Zeiss Jena. In July 2012 Alexander Maul returned to Bavaria and signed a contract with SV Seligenporten . After a season in Seligenporten, he was playing assistant coach in 2013/2014 and a season later he was player-coach of TURA Untermünkheim, until he joined SC 04 Schwabach in the Nürnberg district league for the 2015/2016 season . On May 5, 2016, he became a reserve player for SC 04 Schwabach and took over the vacant head coach position of the Schwabach first team. On August 21, 2017, he was finally dismissed as head coach of SC 04 Schwabach.
