Alexander Niklitschek

Alexander Niklitschek (* 1892 in Kojetein , Moravia , † 1953 in Vienna ) was an Austrian author of non-fiction .

Life

After studying technology in Vienna , Alexander Niklitschek turned to photography .

Niklitschek is the author of several books on biological, mathematical, physical and astronomical problems, which he brings the reader closer to in a generally understandable way. He also wrote numerous manuals and guides on photography.

His best-known work to this day is the book Im Zaubergarten der Mathematik, first published in 1938 . The demand for this book made three more new versions necessary in the first two years after publication. To date, the book has been published in numerous new versions and editions and translated into five other languages. The last new version appeared in 2001 as a PDF edition and is available online.
