Alexander Pfluger
Alexander Pfluger (born February 17, 1970 in Kaufbeuren ) is a German musician , composer and arranger . He owns his own music publisher and is the founder of the band Die Schwindligen 15 .
Life
Alexander Pfluger's career began in 1981 when he started trumpet training with his local club. From 1988 to 1993 he played the baritone horn and electric bass with OAL-Express (today Allgäu-Power). Since 1989 he has also played the electric bass with the Hudndudl Jazz Band. From 1993 to 1997 Pfluger was a baritone player with the Mountain Music Corps 8 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen . In 1994 Pfluger founded the band Die Schwindligen 15 with some comrades from the music corps . In 1999, Pfluger founded Alpen-Sound Musikverlag and the band Die Junge Schwindligen . He has had his own recording studio since 2005 and only gave up his job as a toolmaker in 2009. He works as a music publisher, freelance composer and arranger, music producer and sound engineer .
In autumn 2015 the book “Bohemian with Heart” was published in collaboration with Holger Mück , which vividly explains the style, playing and interpretation of Bohemian, Egerland and Moravian brass music. Alexander Pfluger contributed as co-author of the book.
Private
Pfluger is married and has two children.
