from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Alexander Salvator Freiherr von Pereira (born April 9, 1850 , † October 6, 1917 ) was a Saxon military and papal chamberlain.

Its name Pereira goes back to Portuguese ancestors who settled in Vienna in 1720. These formed the barons Pereira-Arnstein , to which Fanny von Arnstein also belonged.

Pereira was in command of the Königstein Fortress in Saxony. His tomb is in the New Catholic Cemetery in Dresden.
