Alexander Samsonow (documentary filmmaker)

Alexander Samsonow (born December 1944 ) is a German documentary filmmaker .

Life

Alexander Samsonow grew up in Munich and initially worked as a freelancer, later as a permanent editor for Bayerischer Rundfunk . He lives as a freelance author in Munich.

Since 1971, Samsonow has made documentaries for the series Unter Unser Himmel . His calendar notes dealt with landscapes, their people and Bavarian customs, depending on the season or certain festive days.
