Alexander Schimmelbusch
Alexander Schimmelbusch (* 1975 ) is an Austrian novelist living in Germany .
Life
Schimmelbusch was born in Austria and grew up in Frankfurt am Main and New York . After studying economics and German at Georgetown University in Washington , he worked for five years as a merger and acquisition advisor at an investment bank in London. Today he lives as an author and journalist in Berlin and New York.
His novel Blood in Water was awarded the Hotlist Prize in 2009. In 2018, his fourth book was the business satire Hochdeutschland .
