Alexander Sergeevich Serebryakov
Alexander Sergejewitsch Serebrjakow ( Russian Александр Сергеевич Серебряков ; born September 25, 1987 in Arsamas ) is a Russian road cyclist .
Alexander Serebryakov began his career in 2006 with the Russian Continental Team Premier and drove for the Italian club teams from 2008 to 2011. In the 2010 season he was successful in the two one-day races Coppa Lanciotto Ballerini and Piccolo Giro di Lombardia .
In 2013 he had his first contract with a UCI ProTeam , the Basque team Euskaltel-Euskadi . On April 7, 2013 it was announced that Serebryakov had tested positive for the blood doping agent EPO during a training check in March 2013 . He was then immediately released by his team. After a follow-up check of another doping sample on February 21, 2013 also found positive for EPO, he was banned for four years.
