Alexander Wolff
Alexander Wolff (* 1976 in Osterburg ) is a German artist (painting, sculpture, video).
education
From 1996 Wolff studied at the State University of Fine Arts - Städelschule in Frankfurt am Main , from 1998 at the École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts de Paris . This was followed by studies at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna from 2000 to 2002 - with Peter Kogler and Heimo Zobernig . In 2002 Wolff did his MFA at the Städelschule in Frankfurt a. M.
Wolff has exhibited in numerous well-known institutions, for example in the Kunsthalle Nürnberg, the Künstlerhaus Graz, the Kestnergesellschaft Hanover, the Portikus in Frankfurt am Main and in Kai 10 in Düsseldorf. Solo exhibitions took place u. a. in the Kunsthalle Lingen, the Westfälischer Kunstverein Münster, the Overbeck-Gesellschaft Lübeck, as well as the Mezzanin Gallery in Vienna, the Federico Bianchi Gallery in Milan. Wolff lives and works in Berlin.
