History and description
The house at Alexanderstraße 33 was built around 1600. The building has three window axes and a simple Renaissance gable . The gate entrance, which is not covered on the side, probably dates from the time the building was built. The door in the gateway was probably built in later.
Monument protection
The house at Alexanderstraße 33 is a typical example of the renaissance style in Darmstadt. The building - from the first phase of construction in the old suburbs - has been preserved in its original form. For architectural and city history reasons, the building is considered a cultural monument .

There is a restaurant on the ground floor ( Bayrischer Hof ). There are apartments on the upper floors .
