Alexandra Höglund (born September 18, 1990 in Gimo ) is a Swedish soccer player who has been under contract with the Swedish club Djurgården Damfotboll since 2009 .
Career
Höglund played for the Swedish first division club Bälinge IF until 2008 , for whom she appeared eleven times in her last season and scored one goal. After the descent of Bälinge, she moved to league rivals Djurgården Damfotboll, for whom she was used in 60 first division games until 2012 and scored twice. Höglund remained loyal to Djurgården even after relegation to the newly created second-class Elitettan . The immediate resurgence was clearly missed in the 2013 season with ninth place in the table, but Höglund secured the title of the competition's best goalscorer with 16 goals this season.
