Alexandra Lavizzari

Alexandra Lavizzari (born August 11, 1953 in Basel ) is a Swiss writer and literary critic .

Life

Alexandra Lavizzari studied ethnology and Islamic studies . As the wife of a diplomat, she lived in Kathmandu , Islamabad , Bangkok and Rome from 1980 to 2008 , and in England since 2008. She published translations from Persian . In addition to her literary work, Lavizzari is an author of art history and literary critical works.

Alexandra Lavizzari is married and has three children.
