Alexandra Ludwig (born September 6, 1968 ) is a former German volleyball player .

In her youth, Alexandra Ludwig played for 1. VC Schwerte and later also in the Bundesliga . In 1987 she was voted “Newcomer of the Year”. In 1990 she moved to the league competitor USC Münster , with whom she won the German Cup in 1991 . In 1992 she won the European Cup Winners' Cup with Münster and became German champion . Then she went back to Schwerte, where she played as an acceptance and defense specialist. Alexandra Ludwig has been a 76-time German national player . After her active career she was still working as a trainer at 1. VC Schwerte.

Alexandra Ludwig works today as a physiotherapist in Dortmund . She has looked after the handball players from Borussia Dortmund since 2003 and the basketball players from the Herner TC since 2015 .
