Alexandra Meixner (born July 4, 1971 ) is an Austrian ultra-triathlete , doctor, psychotherapist, sex therapist, author and cabaret artist. She is the world record holder in the Deca Ultratriathlon discipline .

Career

Meixner completed a medical degree. After her regular service at the hospital in Gmünd , she turned to gynecology . Before opening her own practice, she did a year as a doctor in the Austrian Armed Forces in the UN foreign service on the Golan Heights .

Race Across America

In 2017 she was the first Austrian to take part in the Race Across America and in 12 days, 4 hours and 35 minutes, she was the second of two participants to cross the finish line.

When he participated again in 2019, Meixner was third overall after 12 days, 5 hours and 41 minutes.

Personal

Alexandra Meixner lives with her family in St. Martin and runs a sports medicine and gynecological practice as an elective doctor.
