Alexandra Kristin Powers (born September 9, 1967 in New York City ) is an American actress.

life and career

The daughter of an acting teacher first appeared in front of the camera at the age of 16 for the B-movie The Prodigal (1983). Her first major film was to be The Mask (1985). In the 1980s she often appeared on television, for example in the television series An Angel on Earth and Family Ties . She played supporting roles in films such as Plain Clothes (1987) and The Dead Poets Club . Her biggest roles, however, include Satanic - Ausgeburt des Wahnsinns (1989) alongside David Carradine , Witch Hunt in LA (1991) alongside Fred Ward and Last Man Standing (1996) alongside Bruce Willis . Her last appearance so far was in 2001 in Zigs , directed by Mars Callahan .

Powers has been married to her fellow actor Barry Del Sherman (* 1962) since 1993.
