action
In Los Angeles in 1948 everything is done only with magic . Private investigator Philip Lovecraft is the only man in town who doesn't use magic. That doesn't exactly make it easy for him when he is hired by the richest man in town, Amos Hackshaw, to retrieve the Necronomicon he has stolen ; a book of infinite wickedness, with which one can bring demons to life. But there is also a gang of gangsters looking for the book.
criticism
"Confused crime game set in the 1940s with an abundance of esoteric allusions, interwoven with a parodic subplot and staged in the color of a comic."
