Lee Tergesen

Lee Allen Tergesen (born July 8, 1965 in Ivoryton , Connecticut ) is an American actor .

Career

Lee Tergesen grew up in Ivoryton with his parents George and Ruth and his brother Chris . His mother died of breast cancer in 1989. He graduated from Valley Regional High School in Deep River . When he was 18, he moved to New York City to become an actor. He attended a two-year academy in Manhattan and worked on the side at a dinner where he met Tom Fontana , who made it possible for Lee to enter the film business.

Tergesen got his first role in Mind Benders, where he played Crash Hopkins. This was followed by other supporting roles in Acting Sheriff , Wayne's World and Wild Palms . He made his breakthrough in 1997 in the Tom Fontana series Oz - Hell Behind Bars , in which he portrayed Tobias Beecher in 56 episodes.

Thanks to this role, Lee got other notable roles such as in Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning , Wild Iris and The Forgotten . He also had numerous appearances in well-known series such as Criminal Minds , Law & Order and Desperate Housewives . Tergesen is still a sought-after actor to this day.

Private

Tergesen's brother Chris is a music producer and produced, among other things, the music for Oz - Hell Behind Bars .

Tergesen has been married three times so far. Currently since 2011 with Yuka Otomo, whom he married in her home country Japan . In 2012 their daughter Lily Tergesen was born.
