Alexandra Wilke

Alexandra Kathrin Wilke (born September 29, 1996 in Berlin ) is a German basketball player .

career

Wilke, who comes from Berlin-Spandau , played in the offspring of BG 2000 Berlin before moving to ChemCats Chemnitz  . There, the 1.75-meter-long formation player made it into the second division squad during the 2012/13 season, after being promoted to the first women's basketball division , she made 18 first division appearances in the colors of the Saxons in the 2013/14 season.

From 2014 to 2016 she strengthened the second division side Bender Baskets Grünberg , for the 2016/17 season she was accepted into the Bundesliga team of BC Marburg and at the same time took up a teaching degree at the Philipps University of Marburg (subjects: mathematics and sport). In 2017 she was third in the championship with Marburg, in 2018 she moved into the final of the European club competition CEWL with the Hessians, but lost to the Romanian representative CSM Satu Mare.

National team

Wilke was a German national player in the U16, U18 and U20 competition classes, and she took part in European championships in these age groups. She played her first international match against the Czech Republic in November 2017.
