biography

Bouillot contested his first FIS races in December 2000, three years later the first starts in the European Cup followed . In 2004 and 2005 he took part in the Junior World Championships. While he was in 2004 in Maribor , only 41 were in the downhill, he reached 2005 in Bardonecchia as each best Frenchman in fifth place in the downhill and sixth in the super-G. In 2005 he was also the French junior champion in slalom.

In November 2005 Bouillot celebrated his first victory in an FIS race and six weeks later he came to his first World Cup competition . In the downhill from Bormio he was able to classify himself as 47th but only in the bottom field. On January 24, 2006 Bouillot surprised with third place in the European Cup Super-G in Châtel , after he had never been among the fastest 30 in the European Cup. This third place remained his best European Cup result for six years. By the end of the 2005/06 season he was twice in the top ten and in the 2006/07 and 2007/08 seasons he got another three top 10 results. In the winter of 2008/09 , however, he was not among the fastest 20 in any European Cup races, which he only managed to do again from the 2009/10 season .

In December 2007 and December 2008 Bouillot took part in two other World Cup races, but did not get into the points. He scored his first World Cup points on December 11, 2009 in his sixth World Cup race, the super combination of Val-d'Isère , which he finished in 28th place. Bouillet has started more often in the World Cup since the 2010/11 season, but so far he has only seldom won any further points. On March 2nd, 2012 he finished 19th in the Super-G of Kvitfjell for the first time among the fastest 20, on December 15th, 2012 he achieved his best World Cup result so far as 16th on the downhill from Val Gardena .
