Alexandre Burger

Alexandre Burger (* 1920 in Bussigny ; † February 10, 2009 in Geneva ) was a Swiss journalist .

Burger was editor-in-chief of L'Ordre professionnel from 1955 to 1958 and reported as a commentator on the Swiss army , especially its aviation , in Télévision suisse romande . In 1958 René Schenker hired him as a permanent employee. In the beginning, Burger was an animator and a journalist at the same time. From 1959 he produced the program Continents sans visa and from 1958 was also responsible for the medical programs Progrès de la médecine with Jean-Claude Diserens . In 1965 he was appointed head of the information department and five years later he became co-director of Télévision Suisse Romande . From 1973 and until he retired at the age of 62, he directed programs for the station (such as the program Table ouverte ).
