Alexandru Nilca (born November 6, 1945 in Târgu Mureş as Sándor Nyilka ) is a former Romanian saber fencer .
successes
Alexandru Nilca was runner-up with the team in Grenoble in 1974 and in Buenos Aires in 1977 . He took part in the Olympic Games twice: in 1976 in Montreal he reached the semi-finals with the team, which were lost to the Soviet Union . He prevailed in the subsequent battle for third place but against Hungary 9: 4 and won bronze together with Dan Irimiciuc , Ioan Pop , Corneliu Marin and Marin Mustață . At the Olympic Games in 1980 in Moscow , he finished fifth with the team.
