Corneliu Marin (born January 19, 1953 in Bucharest ) is a former Romanian saber fencer .

successes

Corneliu Marin was runner-up with the team in Grenoble in 1974 and in Buenos Aires in 1977 . In 1975 he won the bronze medal with her in Budapest . He took part in the Olympic Games three times : In 1976 , he finished the individual competition in Montreal in 24th place, while he reached the semi-finals with the team. In this the team lost to the Soviet Union , but prevailed in the subsequent battle for third place against Hungary with 9: 4.
