Alexei Yuryevich Katyshev

Alexei Jurjewitsch Katyshev ( Russian Алексей Юрьевич Катышев ; born March 17, 1949 in Donetsk Oblast ; † November 30, 2006 in Yalta ) was a Soviet actor who played the "good guy" in two fairy tale films by Alexander Arturowitsch Rou .

Life

In 1964 Katyshev finished his training as a sound engineer in the Yalta film studios (Ялтинская киностудия). After 1968 he took on the leading role in two fairy tale films by Alexander Rou. After filming was over, he was immediately drafted into the army. After the director's death in 1973, Katyshev was no longer used in the leading role in the following productions. Until the early 1990s Katyshev worked as a milk truck driver in the 62nd Yalta car pool.
