Alexis Genet (born June 9, 1982 in Nîmes , Languedoc-Roussillon ) is a French football player .

Career

society

Alexis Genet started his career at Olympique Lyon in 2002 . There he was denied a regular place. For this reason, he moved to the 2003/04 season on loan to the second division AC Le Havre . He made his professional debut on August 1, 2003, when he was in the starting eleven on matchday one against AS Nancy and also played the entire game. In the following years Genet gained a regular place with the Normans. The following season he worked for the lower class club Aviron Bayonnais . Here, too, he played on loan. During the winter break of the 2005/06 season, Genet was completely out of Lyon and moved abroad.

Alexis Genet signed a contract on January 3, 2006 with the then German second division club 1. FC Saarbrücken . With Saarbrücken he was relegated from the 2nd Bundesliga in the same year.
