Alexis Romain Raynaud (born August 19, 1994 in Grasse ) is a French sports shooter . He shoots with the small bore rifle and the air rifle .

successes

Alexis Raynaud took part in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro . In the qualifying round of the three-position fight with the small-bore rifle, he finished fifth with 1176 points and thus moved into the final. In this he scored a total of 448.4 points and thus took bronze behind Niccolò Campriani and Sergei Kamenski . Two years later he also won the bronze medal with the team in the three-position battle with the rifle at 300 m at the World Championships in Changwon . Raynaud took part in both the European Games in 2015 and 2019 , but without winning a medal.

For his medal win at the Olympic Games, he received the Knight's Cross of the Ordre national du Mérite at the end of 2016 .
