Alfonsas Andriuškevičius
Alfonsas Andriuškevičius (born May 13, 1933 in Rinkūnai near Garliava , Kaunas Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian mathematician , politician, member of the Seimas.
Life
From 1942 to 1946 Andriuškevičius studied at the Garliava elementary school and from 1949 to 1952 at the 9th secondary school in Kaunas . After graduating from high school in Garliava from 1953 to 1954, he graduated from 1954 to 1959 with a degree in physics and mathematics at the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas . From 1959 to 1966 he worked in Plungė . From 1971 to 1973 he did his doctorate at the Kauno politechnikos institutas (KPI) and taught from 1973, from 1978 as a lecturer, from 1992 to 1995 lecturer at the chair for mathematical systems science. In 1997 he was mayor of Kaunas and from 1996 to 2000 a member of the Seimas .
Since 1993 he has been a member of Tėvynės sąjunga .
