Alfred Bast
Alfred Bast (born September 22, 1948 in Schwäbisch Gmünd ) is a German painter and artist . Today Bast commutes between Germany, India, Canada and the USA.
Life
Bast studied free painting at the Stuttgart Art Academy , one of his teachers was Gerhard Gollwitzer . Foreign scholarships have taken him to Auroville in South India and the USA.
In 1995 he founded the art research monastery - School of Perception in Abtsgmünd .
The journalist and writer Eva-Maria Bast is his daughter.
